As with many of our loan officers, Ian made the move to Embrace for the opportunity to provide a wider and more robust range of mortgage solutions to his clients. Most interesting to him are our standout products Approved to Move™ and Wider Path Home. Approved to Move™ gives buyers a competitive edge in the market, and Wider Path Home helps people achieve their dream of homeownership. He’ll be serving the areas of Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village, Baltimore, Bolton Hill/Reservoir Hill, Upper Fells Point, Roland Park, the District of Columbia, and surrounding areas.
Ian is dedicated to his work, and it shows. He has won Top Originator awards from both Mortgage Executive Magazine and the Scotsman Guide. He’s also been named President’s Club member three times at NewDay USA and President’s Club three times at Draper & Kramer. Ian is a member of Business Networking International, the world’s largest business networking and business referral organization.
Ian grew up in Laurel, Maryland, and lives in Silver Spring. He studied economics at the University of Chicago and Chinese at Taiwan University. He also spent many years in the Baltimore area in Upper Fells, Roland Park, and Bolton Hill. His happy family includes his wife Jenny, their son Sage, and three cats. When he’s not helping people get the keys to the home of their dreams, he enjoys hiking, music, and reading.
