With a passion for helping borrowers achieve their goals, Robert Spies joins our team of skilled loan officers. He was previously a producing branch manager at Academy Mortgage, where he honed his skills as a loan originator. He was drawn to Embrace’s culture, our range of unique products, and great rates. With our mortgage product selection, he’s excited to be able to help more borrowers get approved for the American Dream. A tribute to his hard work, Robert has been on the Top 1% Mortgage Originators in America list for the last several years.

Originally from West Orange, New Jersey, Robert lives in Columbia, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland where he earned a degree in finance. Robert is married and has a teenage son and daughter and a mini Bernedoodle pup that’s his best friend. When he’s not helping people finance the home of their dreams, golf is top of mind; he’s a member of the Cattail Creek Country Club. He also has a big heart and donates his time to those in need. He and his family deliver food to local families in Columbia on Saturdays. Robert’s idea of the perfect day includes a breakfast buffet with the family, a morning round of golf, afternoon pool time, and a delicious dinner.
